Plushies and Toys

Back again I am, Jammers. Vms915 here, with the third part in an undetermined of how many parts Beginner's AJ Guide! (if that made sense)

Today's section is all about plushies and toys!

First, let's start with plushies. What are plushies?

Plushies are cute little stuffed animals you can get from playing the Claw. The Claw is a claw-game (obviously) where you simply move it back and forth, hit the drop button, and hope you got a plushie. The Claw can be found in:

  • Sol Arcade
  • Conservation Museum
  • Sarepia Theater
  • Captain Melville's Juice Hut
Unlike  Phantom Invasion (the game to get Toys), the results of whether or not you get a plushie are randomly determined by the computer. You have no control over the outcome. You do, however, pay less to use the Claw than to play Phantom Invasion. The Claw costs 5 gems to play, and you can recycle the plushies for 15 gems each.

There is a special den version of the Claw that members can put in their den. This will occasionally yield rare Phantom plushies, but they are member-only.

I also thought I'd mention that there are special "pet" plushies that were sold in the Summer Carnival, but these will be likely to return.

A cool item for non-members to have is a Green Gecko Plushie. To get one, you go to the Animal Jam home screen/login screen. Check the box that says "I have a code." The code is gecko. Enter this code in, and you get a cool plushie!
If you would like to see a complete list of plushies, click  here.

Plushies are a great way to have fun in Animal Jam, because you can play the Claw, not get the plushie you want, play a game to earn more gems, and keep on trying! (That's perseverance, by the way)

Toys
Toys are similar to plushies in that they both are collectible items that vary in type. You get toys by playing Phantom Invasion for 10 gems, which can be found in the Sol Arcade. There is a special den version of Phantom Invasion which can also yield special Phantom Toys, but these are non-member.

There are different lines of toys that you can collect. They are:

  • BFF
  • Occupations
  • Tuxedos
  • Soccer Players (my favorite!)
  • Animals
Will there be more to come? Which lines do you think will come out next?

Sorry that this part of the guide doesn't have many pictures, but more will come, I promise!

Happy Jamming!

Parties and Stamps

Hey Jammers! Vms915 here, with the latest addition to the new AJ Guide for Beginners! Today's newest information is on parties and stamps. I hope you find it useful!

Parties:
Animal Jam parties are a way of opening up different places for Jammers. A different party occurs roughly every thirty minutes. To check on the current and upcoming parties, click on the Party icon on the icon bar at the top of your screen.

There is a special Pets Only Party, for members who own pets. They can buy special clothes for their pets there.

There are "_____ Animal Only" parties, where you have to be a certain animal to enter. There are five different "_____ Animal Only" parties:

There are also regular parties, which all Jammers can attend. These are:

There is a special Atlantis Party, for underwater animals.

And, last but not least, there are special seasonal parties that come on at certain times of the year.
This time of year is the Lucky Party.
All parties sell special items, some of which you can only find at that party. Make sure you head to all of the parties, and pick up the cool items there today!

Well, if I post about parties, then I kinda have to post about stamps, because they go hand in hand. Stamps are found only at parties (except for creatable ones). Every stamp has a location. You click a certain spot, and a certain item will appear by your animal.

Example:

There are many of these stamps around the parties of Jamaa. Can you find them all?

There are also stamps around Jamaa that YOU, the Jammer, create. The "machines" for making these are found all around Jamaa: in the theater, in the Hot Cocoa Hut, and more. How are you going to customize your stamp?

Last but not least, there are stamps you get from playing multiplayer games, like Best Dressed and Falling Phantoms. These are usually given for coming in first place a certain number of times.

However, all stamps eventually disappear from next to your animal.

Happy Jamming!
