I'm thinking about offering a new service....blog ratings!
Have you ever heard of the BBB?
It's sort of like where people rate your business. :P
So, this would be similar!
You could fill out an application, and I would come "inspect" your blog!
This wouldn't be anything bad, but say you got an A+ rating, you would get a cool little sticker (graphic) to put on your blog, to make it seem all official and stuff. :3
Blogs would be graded on how they are, not opinionated stuff (for example, I wouldn't give you an F- for "posts that lower the I.Q. of the whole street" :P)
(did anyone pick up that Sherlock reference? No? Oh well. :P)
Here would be some of the criteria:
-Grammar, spelling, and punctuation----do u spel liek dis? Use sentence fragments? capitalize the Wrong Words?
This won't be too extreme....you would get a good grade as long as your posts are comprehend, it's okay :)
-Consistent posting----If you are a daily posting blog, do you post every day? If you don't, do you give an explanation of why you couldn't post (that isn't too long winded? :P).....if you are not that blog, do you post frequently, or at least post relevant info?
-Good theme, colors, and widgets----theme is creative and original, colors match theme and are easy to read, widgets are (semi) relevant (don't get me wrong, randomness is 127% okay, but since you have an Animal Jam blog, don't put anti-AJ widgets on there), not too irritating (some do things to your page/give you a headache), and improve the overall quality of your blog
-Design----header is creative and matches theme, etc.
Those are just a few ideas.
But, the only thing I would be worried about is that if I give you a B+, people may take that too seriously and hate my internal organs for just telling the story like it is.
Or maybe it could be something like filling out a report card....
You get a grade per each thing, so you can find out what your blog can do to improve
