I'm going to announce the 50 followers contest after the 30,000 views is over. :)

30,000 Views Contest

This contest is for getting 30,000 views!
To enter, you must draw art ON THE COMPUTER using MS Paint, Adobe Illustrator, or some other program.

Here are da rules:
--Send your art to cheesevms915@gmail.com
--Include your Animal Jam username And whether you are a member or nonmember, and (if you are a nonmember) what time you are generally on Animal Jam, including your time zone.
--NO hand-drawn art. You may use a hand-drawn sketch as a base for your art, however.
--ALL entries must be emailed by December 31, 11:59 PM.
--NO inappropriate content or language
--NO copying other's pictures (you can get ideas from them, though)
--No buttering up to the judge (me), sorry ;3
--No bribery or attempted bribery (just a precaution :P)
--Please insert your art into the email, not attach it. It is much easier this way. I will contact you if it doesn't come through
--Any other technical errors not on my part are not my problem, sorry.
For example, the email not coming through in time (unless my Internet is down or my computer dunked in the toilet or eaten/hacked by my cat)
--Tell your friends and family! :D
This is not a requirement, but any support/spreading the word is appreciated. :)

The Cat is Back, Contests, Barty Crouch Jr., and some other random stuffs

As you can see, I'm back, a little later than I originally said...
It was sort of like I was being, well, lazy. :(
So, I apologize for that.

Anyway...

First thing is first: Contests!
I'm going to make a separate post for the each contest a little later, but here is the overview for each one:
30,000 views: Computer Art contest! How good are your MS Paint skills? (or other)
Only computer art allowed! No hand drawns :)
But, if you wish, you can make a sketch by hand, scan it onto your computer/iPad/whatever, and then go over it with colors :)

50 followers: Parody contest! How clever are you?
Take one song (any song, as long as it is appropriate) and write a parody pertaining to Animal Jam!
You can pick a song with bad words ONLY if you change the bad words  to good words ;)
However, you can not pick a song with inappropriate content/references, even if you do change it.
I hope you can enter!
If you are entering, you can get more info on the contest posts.
(including the "awesome" prizes :P)

I have a quick question...what do you think of this year's Jamaaliday gifts?

Blog Ratings?

I'm thinking about offering a new service....blog ratings!

Have you ever heard of the BBB?
It's sort of like where people rate your business. :P

So, this would be similar!

You could fill out an application, and I would come "inspect" your blog!

This wouldn't be anything bad, but say you got an A+ rating, you would get a cool little sticker (graphic) to put on your blog, to make it seem all official and stuff. :3

Blogs would be graded on how they are, not opinionated stuff (for example, I wouldn't give you an F- for "posts that lower the I.Q. of the whole street" :P)


(did anyone pick up that Sherlock reference? No? Oh well. :P)

Here would be some of the criteria:
-Grammar, spelling, and punctuation----do u spel liek dis? Use sentence fragments? capitalize the Wrong Words?
This won't be too extreme....you would get a good grade as long as your posts are comprehend, it's okay :)
-Consistent posting----If you are a daily posting blog, do you post every day? If you don't, do you give an explanation of why you couldn't post (that isn't too long winded? :P).....if you are not that blog, do you post frequently, or at least post relevant info?
-Good theme, colors, and widgets----theme is creative and original, colors match theme and are easy to read, widgets are (semi) relevant (don't get me wrong, randomness is 127% okay, but since you have an Animal Jam blog, don't put anti-AJ widgets on there), not too irritating (some do things to your page/give you a headache), and improve the overall quality of your blog
-Design----header is creative and matches theme, etc.

Those are just a few ideas.

But, the only thing I would be worried about is that if I give you a B+, people may take that too seriously and hate my internal organs for just telling the story like it is.

Or maybe it could be something like filling out a report card....
You get a grade per each thing, so you can find out what your blog can do to improve

Minecraft Back Surprises

I just got back from a soccer tourney! Fun! :)

I just wanted to post this to make a quick note....
Has anyone else noticed how there is a sort of trend (in posting about AJ items) where the author mushes together the item names?

Example: If newest items/new things are:
New advertisements
Bubble Helmet
Artwork that the author drew

Then the title would be something like "Bubble Artwork Ads"
(like what I did to the title of this post)
Just a personal opinion....
If you want to do this to your titles, try and make them something understandable. :P
I've been searching through my Blogger Dashboard, looking at all of the posts I've missed, and the title says something like "Brainy Glasses" and "Bat Brains" (from the Bat Glasses and whatever the head brain item is called :P). And, seeing the title, all I say is "Wut?"
Dis is a tad cornfusing. :P
(I only made the title of this post like that to sort of make a point/make a visual aid :P)

All Da' Graphics

Okay...so, posting a few graphics at a time is a little confusing for me, because I can't remember which ones I've posted and I'm too lazy to go back and check to see if I've posted them already. XP

So....to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of this blog (it's actually tomorrow, but most likely I won't be able to post tomorrow :P), I'm posting all of the graphics I have ever made!
Some of them you have probably seen before, some only I've ever used. Some are really good quality, some are terrible. :P
