I think you mean a favicon. Go to Blogger layout. On the layout spread, go to the top left item that says "Favicon." It should have the preset Blogger one. Click on "Edit," and choose one of your files. It can only be so big, and it has to be square. I suggest making one yourself, like I did. Enjoy! P.S. I have seen your blog before while AJ Blog browsing. It is pretty cool!

You can use the "printscreen" button on your keyboard, paste the shot onto MS Paint, and then crop it. Or, if you have Windows 7, there is a "Snipping Tool" program, where you can take pictures immediately on the screen.
Tell you what: I'll add a new "Blogger Help" page, and put some helpful guides on it. If you have a Blogger-related question (like this), I'll answer it with some actual helpful pictures and descriptions, not just words. Is that okay?

Minecraft is a game. You can play on two main modes: survival or creative. On survival mode, you must fight monsters (only if you wish) and gather your own resources in order to survive. On creative mode, you have every single resource in the game, and an unlimited supply of them. It is for building cool structures and stuff like that, so you don't have to go through the long process to get the cool stuff you want. :)

Instead of using the page widget, I used the image widget, putting in the image I put together in MS PowerPoint, and linking it to the page. :)
I took the original picture (for example, a pic from the Daily Explorer), and opened it in Adobe Photoshop. I traced the outline with the magnetic lasso tool, and set it as a new layer. I deleted the background layer, cropped, and saved!
@.@ It's a lot easier than it sounds (or how I make it sound :P)

Well, compared to other games, it is worth it, however, it depends.
Being a non-member doesn't mean you can't have fun. Sure, you hardly get any items, but you can still do many things that you can't in other games.
It is a pretty good price, compared to many games that are, say, $10 a month, plus $50 for the game itself (for example). Ups: More items More adventures More respect (it's true: you get more respect as a member than as a nonmember) Downs: You (may) get addicted/play too much Let "power" go to your head (I'm not saying this is you, but it has happened before. :P) Not worth the money when there are a dozen better things you could buy for the same price and have just as good a time.
I would say buy a 1-month membership, and see how you like it. $6 isn't that bad if you get on 3 or 4 times a week, or for a couple of hours a week, but if you only get on once or twice for a few minutes, I wouldn't recommend it. :) And, of course, there are contests and giveaways that offer memberships as prizes! I hope that helped!
I was wondering, how do you link your images to other stand-alone pages throughout your blog? I do know how to link images, but I don't know how to link them to pages that don't appear on the page tabs at the header of your blog.

I can't put up the 'Followers' gadget on my blog. Whenever I press 'Save', it says, 'Please correct the errors on this form.' But there are no errors! The only thing you can mess up on is, I dunno, the colours you choose? Maybe my nook doesn't like the colour blue!

Hmm...I'm not sure. I just kept my colors as the template colors when I added a followers gadget to my Ode to a Dalek blog. I would try that. But other than that, I have no idea. :(
I have a problem like that, too. On some computers my followers gadget just disappears or it won't appear on the layout. I searched it up and it has something to do with Google merging everything (YouTube, G+, Blogger). I don't know how to fix it though. >.< But I'm sure it doesn't have to do with the colors...

How do you make Graphics?
ReplyDeleteI save the original picture, and then use a Photoshop program to remove the background and resize it, so the graphics have transparent backgrounds.
